AGM 2021

Annual General Meeting 2021 Thursday 16th September at 7:00 pm in the Clubhouse.

The AGM is open to all Club members. The Agenda is

1) Chairman’s welcome and report

2) Reports from a) Bowls b)Tennis c) Allotments

3) Presentation of accounts April 2020 to March 2021 and April 2021 to date In accordance with the Constitution, the accounts are now available on the Club website.

4) To appoint an accounts examiner for 2022

5) Proposal to accept an updated constitution Issue 7.2 The present Constitution Issue 7.1 and the proposed Constitution Issue 7.2 are available on the Club website. The amendments are procedural to reflect current practice.

6) Election of Club Officers The Constitution says “The Affairs of the Club shall be conducted by a Management Committee of five appointed at the AGM or EGM. The committee shall elect among themselves the Club Officers of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer”. Interested members are invited to declare this to the President, Michael Adams, up to a week before the AGM. Job descriptions are available on the Club website.

7) Confirmation of Vice President and Life Members announced at the Open Day 26Jul21.

8) Correspondence received from Bath County Court - CH v smbtc.

9) Questions to Chair on whole Club matters

10) Close of meeting Bowls Members’ General Meeting The AGM relates to issues concerning the whole Club. At the completion of formalities there will be the opportunity for Bowls Members to discuss matters relating directly to Bowls including 2022 Bowls appointments.
