The season has come to an end, and we are starting to hunker down for winter.

We have a few projects planned for this winter, including the installation of a water tank for the irrigation system for the green and a replacement shed for the bowls equipment. 

SOCIAL EVENINGS DURING WINTER are being held on Mondays every week, the bar will be open, with board and card games available. We will also be holding special events on one Friday each month with quizzes, live music and games. The clubroom is now heated so will be toasty warm throughout the winter months.

Are you interested in trying bowls for the first time? or perhaps you are a seasoned player.

All levels of ability are welcome with free roll-ups every Monday evening and family Fridays every week for all the family FROM April next year.

Only £40 membership for the first season which includes a new club shirt.

All equipment supplied, just wear soft, flat soled trainers.

Shepton Bowls Club has a distinguished past and a very exciting future.  The Club is being transformed to meet the demands of the 21st Century while maintaining that essential feel of a traditional Club.  It was our centenary year n 2019  The standard of our bowls green is respected throughout the County.

The Club is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club, similar to charitable status.  We are committed to providing affordable, inclusive and accessible activities. Membership is open to all on application regardless of gender, age, disablility, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs. Membership may be limited according to available facilities on a non-discriminatory basis.  We are a grassroots club aiming to become a leading provider of disability and junior activities in the Mendip district of Somerset. Although an urban site, the Club is easily accessible with a central carpark at the heart of our facilities.

Shepton Bowls is an autonomous activity within Shepton Mallet Bowls and Tennis Club.
